New York artist Dana Anhalt was a sick child. Over time, it got worse.
At the age of 37, she could hardly move without help and could not manage her hand movements. Her weight was about 30 kg.

– acute coronary allergic syndrome.
But nothing helped her. Endless tests, unnecessary treatments, and in the middle – the patient suffering. Recently, doctors have been able to shed light on this case.
Dana spent her whole life in a house infested with black mold. And from this mold her body became infected. Some genetic mutations were actually the basic problem, because of them the parasitic substances in the patient’s body could not be detected in time.
Only after several genetic tests, doctors were able to confidently confirm who is to blame for all the misfortunes. “It was difficult to detect, but now I am convinced that the years of experience were not in vain” – said the doctor who performed the tests.
Most often, the negative impact of mold is in the form of allergies. Although people with respiratory and immune diseases may suffer more serious consequences. Dana’s case is a rarity.
To protect yourself from harmful strains of mold it is important to maintain a perfect level of humidity in the house. Also, the rooms must be well ventilated and periodically disinfected with antifungal products.
The doctor immediately recommended that the woman change her residence and even leave all her belongings because it was not excluded that they would also be infected. According to Dana, this step was a great loss, but her health was much more important.
