Blake Ruff mourned the death of his wife, who had committed suicide in a truly shocking way on Christmas Eve, and as he sorted out all the things he had left unfinished, he reached her closet. There, in a box, he discovered something that changed everything.

Blake had married a woman named Lori Kennedy and had a child. The marriage had been in trouble for years because of Lori’s behavior in asking the man for a divorce. He went to his parents, but things did not calm down: the woman had begun to threaten to harm his family and the child he had taken with him.
But he would not suffer too much because one evening the woman drove to her parents’ house, where she had moved, and shot herself in the head, in the yard.
While he was cleaning things up, he discovered that his wife had more identities, moreover, she had written two suicide notes. It took investigators a long time to find out that the woman had run away from home when she was 18 and had since lived under a false identity after changing her name several times.

It took Blake 6 years to put it all together, but in the end, he was able to start over because he realized that Lori was a very troubled woman who never got the help she needed and decided to leave those who loved her, making them suffer even more by her final gesture and her actions.
