Craig Renton is from Newark, Great Britain, and one day his pregnant wife started to feel very bad, so the man rushed her, scared, to the hospital urgently.

The woman fainted on the way and her skin turned purple, as happens in cases where the brain is no longer oxygenated.

At the hospital, the doctors struggled for minutes to bring her back to life, but at one point, the medical team left the room where Heidi was being operated on.

Here is what he remembers from those moments that will soon become the most painful in his life: “Everyone was crying. One of them came to me and told me something I will never forget. He told me that my wife had died and then asked me if I would like to see my little girl. ”

Unfortunately, the tragedy did not end with a healthy baby girl, after only 15 hours and the newborn baby died.

Here is what happened, in his father’s words: “I was told she was going to die. It was kept alive by the devices for three hours, and I made the decision to unplug it. She died in my arms. Although I only had her for 15 hours, I came to love her very much. She and Heidi have been and will always be the great loves of my life. ”

Now, in his wife’s memory, Craig is raising money for a hospital that was very important to her because she was a radiologist.
