A couple from Great Britain, together with their 10-year-old son, have reached the situation where they are afraid to sleep in their house. This case again brings to light the theory of the existence of ghosts. It all started 10 years ago when after the birth of the child they decided it was time to move to a bigger house. Robert and Pauline turned to a company that deals with finding housing for those interested. After several visits, the real estate broker showed them a house in a small town called Gravesend.
The couple was pleasantly surprised by the photos with the building and decided to go and see it. Arriving at the location, their first impression was confirmed, the house looked gorgeous. After the visit, they decided together with the real estate agent that the location would be a perfect place for their new family and an ideal place to raise Barry, their little boy.
After about two months, they were completely moved to the new city and everything seemed to go according to plan. Being busy raising the little one, they did not give too much importance to the other aspects. After a year of living in the new house, Robert began to notice strange things.
He noticed moving objects in their place, the coffee cups filled themselves, the doors slammed at night, and other abnormal things. He was not scared at first, blaming everything on the fatigue accumulated at the office and at home because of the little one. Things started to get more and more obvious, and Robert decided it was time to talk to Pauline. No wonder Pauline noticed the same thing.
When this was confirmed by his wife, Robert began to fear. His first thought was that the house was haunted. The two decided to pay more attention to details such as where to put their cups, plates, the exact location of the objects to see if there are any changes the next day.
One morning, Robert was getting ready to go to work. He went to the kitchen, as usual, to turn on the stove and put the coffee on the fire. Meanwhile, while the coffee was being made, he went to change for the new day at the office. When he returned, he was amazed to find that there was no coffee in the kettle at all.
This alarmed him very much and he immediately went to Pauline to tell her too. He had to get to work and left things like that, but after finishing the program he decided it was time to do something. The man turned to a specialist in the field who suggested that the best solution would be to install surveillance cameras throughout the house.
The next day, a team of engineers were present at the family home and began installing the rooms.
They waited a week, after which they started looking at the recordings. The whole scenario they had imagined had been confirmed. The images taken from the surveillance cameras clearly showed how the objects moved on their own, the coffee cup emptied on its own, certain objects were slammed to the ground, the doors closed at night, and other bizarre things. After watching the pictures, they were too scared to sleep in the house, but they had no choice.
The episodes have started to get scarier and scarier, and they fear for the safety of themselves and their child. The mystery is still unsolved, and the three live every day with this fear that seems to never stop.
