Policemen have lots of responsibilities and they do a great job when it comes to safety measures. Feeling safe in your city is their job, they deserve respect and we should honor them for the courage and devotion. There are people out there who also concentrate on people needs, not only on catching the bad guys. The officer in this video did an amazing thing, and he deserves a lot of appreciation for his good deed.
Two officers were patrolling the area as usual and they had the surprise of the day. As they were driving the vehicle in an abandoned area, the two officers noticed a car parked, just nearby. Nobody was around, except that car. So they decided to investigate more closely. It seems that the car was not abandoned as they thought as first, instead they found something incredible. A family was living inside that car. Occupied by two parents and two 3-years-old children, that vehicle was the only roof they had and seeing the grieving parents and the two kids with their sad faces, both officers couldn’t leave them there.
Leonardo and his colleague took the family with them and called the local hotel and gave them $200 to spend on food and other necessities until something will be done for them. Not only that, they took action and motivated other colleagues to contact various organizations to inform them about the situation of this family. Leonardo, the officer, dialed several numbers and now they will be assisted and helped to move on and have a house for their own.
It’s crucial to have the necessary elements to provide for a kid, so the department for children and family was informed as well, because the procedure required.
