Cruel Practice of 24/7 Outdoor Tethering Of Dogs Would Be Banned By Law! Do You Support This New Law?

A dog is a member of the family and deserves to be treated like any other member. Dogs are pack animals and you are their pack, they need to be near you, inside the house.

Unfortunately, many dog owners prefer to chain-up their dogs outside 24/7, with no escape, no interaction whats so ever.

Dogs like that are very often trapped, scared, feeling isolated. They are forced to sleep, drink, eat, defecate, and urinate all in the same small area. That is the harsh truth, the life of many dogs around the world who some irresponsible people consider them their „pets”.

Those dogs deserve so much better, their nature is to play, to run, exercise, explore, discover, and be part of the pack. When you tethered a dog to a doghouse or a tree 24 hours you are taking away his joy, his spirit, HIS LIFE!!

But this cruel practice is about to end with this new law that will ban 24/7 outdoor tethering of dogs!

A lot of lives will be spared and cruel people will pay for these barbaric practices.

For that to happen WE NEED YOUR HELP!

You can help by contacting your local officials and ask to meet with them face to face to discuss what some jurisdictions have already made the law.

PLEASE help break the chain with an ordinance in your community!

Now it’s the time to be the voices that dogs don’t have and speak up for them. Let’s all unite and give them the protection they deserve!

“Cruel” tethering may be included as a violation of state anti-cruelty chapters. Indiana defines “neglect” as restraining an animal for more than a brief period in a manner that endangers the animal’s life or health by the use of a rope, chain, or tether. West Virginia and the District of Columbia include “cruelly chains” in its list of activities that constitute misdemeanor animal cruelty. Tethering in a manner that causes injury or even danger to the dog, including attacks by other animals, can be classified as cruel restraint under many state laws.
