Pit Bull is so Affected by his Human Mom’s Death but a UPS Driver offers Him a Warm and Welcoming Home

It’s known the fact that not all postmen and couriers have a special relationship with the dogs that are in charge of keeping homes safe, but the following video shows a very different case. The end will make your heart melt!

Katie Newhouser has been a UPS driver for a long time, and she managed to create many special friendships with the dogs she met on her network route. In her 15 years of activity, she became a good friend to many dogs, always giving them traits and belly rubs.
One of her best friends is a Pit Bull named Leo and Tina Rummel, his human mommy. After many years of meetings between them, Katie and Leo formed a special relationship.

So unfortunate, at some point Tina passed away and left Leo alone, grieving. When she heard the sad news, Katie was so sad about what happened that she couldn’t even think about leaving Leo alone, considering that Canon, Tina’s son, was on active marine duty, at that time, away for an unknown period.

When she met Leo, he couldn’t abstain and leaped inside her delivery truck, begging for love and affection. He refused to climb down and at that point, Katie knew that something must be done. She decided to take Leo home till Canon returns home from duty. Leo was warmly welcomed by the other dogs that were living in the household, linking new friendships.

There were some times when, before going to sleep, Leo was whimpering. His new siblings were always there to give him hugs and good treatment, making Leo feel like home more and more as the time was passing. Katie knew then that she couldn’t separate from the new family member and eventually adopted him, giving him a forever and safe home.

You can clearly see in the following video that Leo regained his radiant smile and his delighted eyes are the proof that he feels awesome in the new home.
