A 10-year-old boy was so generous that he decided that his birthday would be a good time to give his stepfather the most beautiful gift in the world.
According to The Huffington Post, Kalani Watson had long ago decided that she wanted to use her birthday celebration to celebrate her mother’s husband, Brandon Williamson. So, at the party, Kalani surprised Williamson with a letter that left this man speechless and in tears.
Here is what he said:
“I know that today should be just about me, but in fact today is about us. Today I met you, 7 years ago, I didn’t know you then, but I’m so happy that everything is different today. I learned so much from you. I asked my mother what the difference was between a stepfather and a real father. You have always been by my side, you have come to all my celebrations, to all my matches, and every time I get sick you are by my side. When I need you, you take me everywhere and you always help me, so I think that’s what makes you my real father. And today I have two questions: do you love me? Do you love Mommy? Can you live without us? Then let’s stop playing and make everything official: DO YOU WANT TO DO ME THE GREATEST FAVOR IN THE WORLD? DO YOU WANT TO ADOPT ME?
In the end, the father received the adoption documents, although we can’t see the end in the clip, we found out that he signed them!
