Melissa Holman was only 27 years old when she had a heartbreaking encounter with another woman when she was just a nurse, an encounter that will change her life forever.
Holman, according to the Daily Mail, was at work when she heard a woman crying in the hallway after her seventh In Vitro Fertilization attempt had failed. Holman remembers that “she felt like she wanted to help her.”
Eight years have passed since then and until now Holman has been a surrogate mother twice, moreover, 18 babies were born after she donated her eggs: “I was 27 years old, I already had 2 children of I didn’t need eggs anymore, ”says the woman, who adds that becoming a surrogate mother changed her life.
Her first surrogate birth was exhausting, both physically and emotionally. she had three miscarriages before giving birth to a baby girl for a desperate mother, she says: “When I took Nina and put her in her mother’s arms, the woman was already crying for happiness!”
“A few weeks ago I gave birth to a baby boy. It was perfect – they took it from my stomach and put it in the arms of his loving mother. This was the second child I put in the mother’s arms, the second to be born thanks to me. I could have been in the situation of these women, I could have been the one who could not have children. When I see a child in his mother’s arms, I feel happiness, which is all the more intense as I know all the torments that mothers have gone through before. Someone needs something that is natural to me, it’s so simple. ”
The woman also adds that she recommends all women to donate eggs: “We can move stones alone, together we can move mountains.”
