Two days before she turned 27, Stephanie Giorgi was sexually abused.
She had planned to go out with friends that day, they met and continued to party until nightfall. Upon departure, Giorgi was put in a taxi called by friends who took care to give the driver the address. No one, not even Giorgi, knows what happened after that, although now she knows she was raped. When she woke up the next morning, she knew something was wrong and began to have brief memories.
That day the girl took a shower and noticed that her hair was starting to fall out, the first time she ignored the problem, but it was falling out more and more, so much so that she finally decided to shave it all. Giorgi realized that her body was crying in her place!
The girl confesses: “My body told me it was okay if I felt something was wrong, and that if I didn’t think about it, he would give me something to think about!” Two months after her hair loss, no doctor could help her grow back.
Giorgi doesn’t know if she will ever have the hair she had again, but now she wears a wig and says that she feels stronger than ever because she accepted the nightmare she went through and overcame it!
