The father came with his new young wife to his daughter’s wedding – what followed amazed everyone
A divorce triggers many side effects in a family. The most affected by this process are children. It is said that if we pay attention to tabloids and news, divorce seems to have become a trend. Children suffer extraordinarily long after such an event and can change radically, taking the example of their parents. We live in a world where some people, instead of fixing something, they prefer to throw it away because it’s easier. True, divorce is normal in some cases, but it should be an extreme solution and things should be arranged in such a way that the message is conveyed in a good light to the child.
The father divorced and after a short time, he married a much younger woman, more precisely 25 years old. His daughter had a wedding scheduled soon and his new wife was to appear at the wedding, which would upset Jennifer, the daughter. Her natural mother had bought her the perfect wedding dress. It was exactly to her liking. After a while, she found out that her father’s new wife was wearing a very similar dress.
She asked her to give in and not wear it, but the “stepmother” was very stubborn and refused, saying that she liked too much how she looked. After telling her mother about what had happened, she was not too stressed because it made no sense, given the joy she felt about the wedding, so she assured her that she would find her an even more beautiful dress and not to worry.
The mother kept her word, the new dress was much more beautiful and the future bride was looking way much better dressed like that. After asking her mother what she was going to do with the old dress, she gave Jennifer an unexpected answer.
“I’ll wear it, at the repetitions one night before your wedding, my daughter, don’t worry.”
