The student missed an exam because she could not leave the child alone – the professor’s reaction
Who says a mother can’t study at the same time and take care of the other tasks she has? It is true that a mother must equip herself with a lot of dedication, perseverance, and patience to successfully solve everything she sets out to accomplish. In addition to these qualities, the program must be structured in such a way that other activities are not omitted, in order to maintain balance.

With discipline and no remorse for the sacrifices and effort involved, the road to achieving goals is visible, even if there will be obstacles on the way. The following article is about the experience of a young mother who knows what multi-tasking means and due to the very busy schedule and errands she did not manage to get to classes in one day. The professor’s response to the young woman’s absence impressed a lot of people.
In addition to being the mother of a few-month-old girl, 21-year-old Morgan Kelly works at a restaurant at night and attends classes at the University of Tennessee during the day, and she manages to have time for herself too, even if it’s a very small window.
She is happy and content to strive for a better life, both for herself and her baby. Due to the super busy schedule, she failed to reach an important test. She sent an e-mail to the teacher apologizing, explaining the situation, and asking her to offer her an alternative. The teacher understood perfectly, because she is also a parent and she answered Kelly’s email in a very warm way:
“Hey Morgan,
We were surprised I didn’t see you in class today.
I’m sorry about the problems with your child. If you still have trouble finding someone to stay with Korbyn in the future, know that you can bring her to class. I would love to hold her while I teach, while you can be attentive and take notes. I work for the Family and Child department, it would be ugly not to allow a child to visit. Know that I’m serious, my offer is serious, bring Korbyn with you next time.
Let me know if I can help you with anything else.”

What do you think of the teacher’s initiative? It is very nice of her to invite the little one to classes. A proof of humanity and understanding. If you enjoyed reading this story then share it with your loved ones!
