It never occurred to her that this was going to be the last photo together – what happened next
Driving requires maximum attention, skill, and defensive behavior to participate in traffic. There are many drivers who do not follow the rules and in most cases, out of selfishness, they risk both their lives and the lives of others to get to their destination faster. Aggressive driving is unacceptable in traffic. According to recent studies, the accident rate in the United States has reached a worryingly disturbing number. Since adolescence, Destiny has known that Corey is the one for her. The two resonated very well together, they have remained together since high school, when they met. When they became adults, when the two were 21 and 20 years old, they found out that they would be parents, news that brought them a lot of joy and a deep feeling of fulfillment. The pregnancy went very well and the two young parents were looking forward to welcoming their little baby boy. After giving birth and holding little Lee Parker in their arms, they discovered again what love at first sight means, but in a much deeper way this time.
Their house suddenly blossomed and their life took on a different meaning: all attention was focused on their little boy. One day, the three were on their way to the city, having some work to do. Corey was behind the wheel and Destiny with Lee Parker in the back seats. Destiny remembers how it all stopped at some point. She woke up in the hospital. She was going to get some terrible news.
The doctors informed Destiny that she was the victim of a serious accident. Little Lee Parker died in the accident and Corey’s life ended after 24 hours of continuous fighting. The doctors couldn’t do anything to keep him alive. Her life had changed completely. Everything was darker, she didn’t see the meaning and she couldn’t help but wonder “why?”. Why them? The culprit for the accident was a woman who was found under the influence of alcohol while driving. She got in the front of the car in which the family was and because of her big ignorance, she ended two innocent lives. Destiny sent a message after what happened:
“The actions of a selfish woman, who thought she would be able to drive drunk, killed my 15-month-old son and my husband. That day my life was torn to pieces. If someone had stopped that woman, everything would have been different. Do not allow friends or relatives who have consumed alcohol to get behind the wheel. You are not allowed to be drunk behind the wheel!”
