They arrived and saw the house on fire – they couldn’t believe their eyes when they heard what happened
Besides the fact that they are really dirty and carry a lot of germs and bacteria with them, cockroaches also have a more interesting side, so to speak. These insects are very good survivors in critical situations, for example, they can hold their breath for 40 minutes.
They can live without the head for a whole week and have a remarkable speed of three miles per hour. Think that bacteria are spreading at the same speed, which makes them even more dangerous and … disgusting. Much more interesting is that they can last without food for a month because they have cold blood. But without water for only a week. A family in the United States was returning from vacation and saw firefighters preparing an operation at a neighboring house, which was known as abandoned.

Apparently, that house was the home of many beings that over time entered most of the neighboring houses. So many cockroaches there, that house was full, representing a real risk of infestation for other people. It was so serious that people reported the problem and a team of firefighters was tasked with setting the house on fire, in order to get rid of all insects. Therefore, a team of 20 firefighters was sent to the address and preparations began to set fire to the place in question.

Neighbors in the area gathered to admire the show, seeing how organized the firefighters are. They made sure there was no risk of fire spreading from the cockroaches nest. The whole operation lasted a few hours, the fire spread quickly due to the old and rotten wood, getting rid of the unwanted insects that gave so many people headaches over time.
The entire operation was filmed by a neighbor and uploaded to YouTube, where he gathered over a million and a half views. The video is attached to this article and you can have a look and see how disgusting that place was inside. We don’t know who had enough courage to enter that hell full of insects but he deserves a raise for sure.
People everywhere left comments, cheering the firefighters for the good work. Many joked about the cockroaches, mentioning their resistant nature and that probably most of them are still alive. Hopefully, the residents of that neighborhood don’t have that problem anymore, because it must be very annoying and gross. If you enjoyed this story please pass it to your friends and family!
