A 29-year-old woman was prepared to give her own life to save her children from a fire that burned their house

A 29-year-old woman was prepared to give her own life to save her children from a fire that burned their house.

The incident took place in Newman Lake, Washington. A passer-by noticed children standing in front of the house on fire and watching helplessly as their house burned. Inside the house, their mother and seven-year-old sister lay unconscious.

It all started when Angel Fiorini woke up coughing in the middle of the night, due to a thick and stifling smoke that had entered the bedroom. Then, the mother realized that the house was engulfed in flames and ran to save her three children from the fire. Eventually, she managed to get her three-year-old boy, Vinny, and her 18-month-old baby, Rosalie, out of the way, but Gianna, the 7-year-old girl, remained locked in the house.

As Angel tried to reach the older girl, the two younger children, not realizing the danger, tried to re-enter the house. To keep them safe, the woman locked the door and continued to search for her daughter in the flames.

Until she managed to find Gianna, thick smoke invaded the hallway, and the woman could not find the way out. The brave mother covered her child with her own body to protect her from the flames. They were both lying at the entrance, unconscious and with severe burns all over their bodies.

The luck of the two was a man who passed through the area and managed to get them out. The youngest of the children suffered only minor injuries. Although her mother made sure that the flames did not reach Gianna, the little girl was left with second-degree burns on 14% of her body surface.

The situation was much worse for Angel who suffered second and third-degree burns all over his body.

Angel’s friends were not at all surprised by the woman’s heroic gesture. “She supports the whole family 100%. She is strong and loving. When you marry a woman, you hope to have a wife like her, ” said a relative of Angel.

Fortunately, the woman has fully recovered from the severe burns she suffered and is with her children.
