Silvina Martinez Pintos was at home in Mar del Plata, Argentina, working on the computer. The 31-year-old woman was looking through family photos posted on a social network when she noticed a detail that completely changed her life.
Silvina noticed that her mother never appeared pregnant in any photos. Moreover, the girl was born a few weeks before the picture was taken.
Silvina became really suspicious and had a real shock when she realized: she was adopted. Without thinking, she decided to confront her parents.
“It was very difficult for me to find out this truth. My parents confirmed my suspicions, but did not give me any additional details about how it all happened, ” said the young woman.
Silvina said she was born at 11:30 a.m. by her biological mother, a 16-year-old teenager, and the doctor who attended the birth was Ricardo Carminatti.
Silvina made the whole story public on the internet, hoping that someone would help her find out the truth. Immediately, the girl’s post was distributed by hundreds of people eager to help her.
“My ex-mother doesn’t know anything or I don’t want her to tell me more, my adoptive father is gone, and I want to know what happened: if they abandoned me or if I was sold,” wrote Silvina Martinez Pintos in a Facebook post.
At the same time, Silvina said that she does not judge her biological parents at all. She just wants to know more about the one who gave her life, if she still has siblings, and the reason why she was given up for adoption.
“I need to know all these things so that I can see my life in peace,” Silvina concluded her story.
