If you’re a dog owner, then you know what your dog loves the most! It can be a specific snack too, but they are in love with walks outside, especially in nature, in a park for example. You know the moment when you touch the leash, your dog comes immediately with its tail wagging left and right, ready for a new adventure. Just like children when going out to play, so they are!
This man decided to take his four German Shorthaired Pointers out but didn’t tell them where they are headed, he was curious to test them if they can figure out themselves what will be the destination. So as he was driving the car, the dogs started to act differently at some point. Despite their big size, the four dogs started howling out of joy when realizing that the final destination was the park. German Pointers are very intelligent, well-behaved, and faithful. When it comes to playtime and excitement, they don’t stand back.
All four of them started singing just like in a competition. When daddy asked “Where are we going?”, they rushed to answer in their own way. The owner is so amused and tries to concentrate on the road, keeping the eyes ahead and trying to pet them as well, but it’s difficult when you have four excited kids thinking about the fun they will have in the park.
It’s hilarious to see their reaction. They look like a rock&roll band ready to take over the night and make everyone happy. It’s well known that German Shorthead Pointers need lots of room to play, that’s why it’s not recommended to keep them in an apartment, especially if you don’t stay at home most of the time to play with him. They don’t tolerate being alone and cold weather, but they are very affectionate and love the hot season when they can enjoy the games in the parks. While there are many breeds that prefer to be independent and bond to a single person, these dogs can make many friends, if treated well. They have an inborn desire to chase and if they see a cat, for example, they will activate that instinct of hunter.
