When Clare’s mother was 13, she became pregnant. Together with her mother, she went to the hospital and had an abortion. At first glance, this was a success, and the girl returned to school and her normal life. However, in just a few weeks, a friend noticed that something was wrong.

Again, Claire went to the hospital where she was given shocking news – she was still pregnant. With one small difference: it was another child. Although the first abortion was a success and during the ultrasound afterward they did not see any more children, the girl was still pregnant: the doctors had not noticed the twin sister who was left in the womb after the abortion.

This was the unusual way Claire was given a new chance to be born. A few months later, she was born and adopted by a family.

But her life will be full of health problems. After the birth, she had many problems with her dislocated hips and the soles of her legs that were oriented inwards. At one point she even had to wear a full-body cast.

However, she is more than grateful to her natural mother for giving birth to her and for giving her a chance at life. Now the girl considers her biological mother a hero who had an extremely complicated life, but who managed to remain a good person.
