Anyone who saw this little girl next to this woman would have assumed that they were a mother and a daughter and that they were going home. So when the little one screamed that froze your blood in your veins, everyone was shocked.
A woman, Adriana Young, whose job it is to stand at a crosswalk where children mostly pass, because she is close to several schools, had just finished her shift and was preparing to go home, when she heard this little girl screaming: “Please don’t let her take me. I do not know her. She’s not my mother! ”
Adriana looked around and saw a woman trying to force an 8-year-old girl to go with her, she knew she wouldn’t let that happen, so she jumped in defense of the little one: she grabbed her by a hand and held it as tight as he could.
The other woman, the one who was trying to kidnap her, was bigger than her, and, seeing that she would be caught, violently attacked Adriana, but she did not give up, still holding her tightly until the kidnapper finally gave up.
Fortunately, the police managed to catch her, she was identified as Maria Ramirez, and she will be convicted. Adriana, on the other hand, is considered a local hero and the mayor’s office organized a public event where a member of the Local Council stated:
“Sometimes superheroes come in small packages. Due to her quick thinking, her training, and her quick awareness of the danger, and because she cares so much about children, Adriana managed to save the little girl ”.
The girl’s mother, Sharon, was deeply grateful to Adriana for her courage: “If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t know where my daughter was now,” the mother said.
