She was walking quietly on a beach when she found a bottle with money and a note in it! She was surprised when she realized what it was all about.
Judi Glunz Sydney was on vacation in Colony Beach, Florida. She was walking on the beach when, at one point, she discovered a plastic bottle. Initially, she wanted to throw it in the trash, but then she noticed something very strange. Inside was a sum of money and a ticket. She was surprised when she read the paper and found out what it was about!
“My husband, Gordon Scott Smith, loved to travel. Call me and tell me where he is. “ This was the note from the man’s wife, placed in the plastic bottle next to his ashes.
Also there, Judi found another ticket, from another person. It was about someone who had found the bottle in 2013, then put money inside and threw the bottle away in running water. Now it was Judi’s turn to put money in and send Gordon for a walk around the world again.
The story impressed Judi so much that she not only called Beverly and Ross but decided to call a priest and hold a service for Gordon before releasing him into the water.

Beverly Smith and her husband Gordon “Skinny” Scott had a model marriage for more than 20 years, during which time the two shared a common passion – travel.
Gordon Scott enjoyed visiting the world so much that when he died in March 2012 of a cerebral hemorrhage, his wife, Beverly, made a rather bizarre decision at first glance. She took her husband’s ashes, put them in a bottle, along with a note and two dollars, and released them into the sea off the coast of Florida.
“He loved the ocean, I wanted him to travel, so I let him go,” Beverly said.
The woman’s dream of receiving news from her late husband has come true. The note she had put in the glass, next to the ashes, said the following:
“My husband Gordon” Skinny “Scott loved traveling. Call me and tell me where he ended up. “ The two dollars had been put in the bottle to pay for the phone call.
The first to find Gordon on his voyage was a man named Ross, who recovered the bottle last month. Impressed by the ticket and the story, Ross called Beverly to tell her he had “met” Gordon, resealed the bottle, and released her back to the sea, along with his own ticket and two dollars.
“I called his wife to tell her where he was and she was very happy. (…) Please, if you find him, call Gordon’s loving wife and call me to find out where he ended up, ” Ross wrote in his note.
