Allan Aguilar walks 4 kilometers a day, he has only one leg and for that, he uses a crutch that he holds in one hand, while in the other he holds a huge bag that weighs almost 110 pounds… But for what, or for who does he do this?

Allan lives on the island of Mindanao, and the road he takes every day is to reach the small market of the island, after selling everything he brought, the way home, without that huge burden, is much easier.
When Allan was little, his father forced him to stop going to school when he was 6 years old, since then he worked with his father in the jungle, picking rattan, a palm fiber that is used to produce woven furniture.
One day, while he was in the woods and working, Aguilar injured his leg, he got infected quickly and his parents had no money for the doctor, so the infection was not treated, his leg was finally amputated from the knee. From then on, he will always use a crutch.

Ever since he lost his leg, Aguilar has settled in the village of Mabicay to take care of his aunt. In the locality, he became a true legend because, despite his disability, this man worked every day since he was 6 years old, and continues to do so. Everyone appreciates him for the determination he continues with!
A local woman, Lodalina Tomon, decided to tell Aguilar’s story on Facebook, she even added a clip where we can see this man struggling to walk with that weight on his back. Currently, a group of people want to make a page where those who can donate money so that this exemplary man can buy a prosthesis.
No matter how hard his journey is, it is clear that Aguilar will NEVER give up. It is an example for all of us, RESPECT for this man.
