A two-year-old girl from Saint Louis, named Vivian Keith, was diagnosed with leukemia. Due to the disease she suffers from, the little girl has to spend a lot of time in the hospital.
A construction site can be seen from the little girl’s living room. Vivian is really captivated by what is happening there and watches everything from the hospital bed.
One day, two builders who were installing some metal installations, came quite close to the little girl’s window. Seeing them, Vivian greeted them, waving her hand. The workers noticed her and responded respectfully to her greeting. And so, the 2-year-old girl befriended Travis Barnes and Greg comb.
The greeting of the three quickly became a natural gesture. Every morning, Vivian approached the window to greet her friends, and they always greeted her.
When work began on the 9th floor of the building, next to the window in Vivian’s living room, the workers decided to surprise her. On one of the mounted beams, they wrote: “Get well soon!”
