Betsy Ayala, a woman from Houston, Texas, lost 47 kilograms to take revenge after discovering that her husband has a mistress and that her weight is the subject of jokes between the two.
“I was devastated when I saw on his Facebook that he was calling me a ‘fat cow’. My world has collapsed, ” Ayala said. The 34-year-old woman broke up with her husband after a long relationship, which began at the age of 17, then she did something she had been aiming for a long time: she lost weight.
“It was actually a blessing, because otherwise I don’t think I would have ever lost weight,” the woman admitted. Ayala weighed over 100 kilograms after giving birth but says she always weighed more than average.
The woman’s story reached everyone’s ears, which made Ayala famous, being invited to several television talk shows in the United States.
