A British man went for a tattoo, but died shortly afterward, ignoring the advice of specialists. The 31-year-old man went swimming, where he found his end.
It all happened when he came in contact with a bacterium that was feeding on skin and tissue, due to which he suffered a serious infection. Just five days after getting his tattoo, he swam in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
In a short time, he had sepsis in the leg of his right foot, the place where he tattooed a crucifix with two hands, which suggested the very idea of faith. After two days, the man showed the first symptoms of fever, chills, and itching in the newly tattooed area.
His leg bruised and he was rushed to hospital. Because the man also consumed alcohol for a long time during his life, he also developed cirrhosis, and the infection advanced much faster in the body.
One day after his hospitalization, the 31-year-old Briton was kept alive by the devices, his organs failing.
The septic shock was so severe that the man eventually lost his life.
