On May 14, 1939, Lina Medina entered the Guinness World Records, becoming the youngest mother in the world: she gave birth to a perfectly healthy boy at only 5 years, 7 months, and 21 days!

The Peruvian girl defied all the laws of medicine, her baby received a maximum grade at birth – 10, and doctors first believed that the girl had a tumor. The doctor who treated her, Gerardo Lozada, performed a more careful consultation on the girl and found with astonishment that she was 7 months pregnant.
On May 14, 1939, her child was born, who weighed 2.7 kilograms and was given the name of the doctor, Gerardo. The strangest thing about this whole story is that the father’s identity was never found out. However, Line’s father, Tiburelo Medina, was charged with abusing his daughter but was released for lack of evidence.
Gerardo, Line’s child, lived only 40 years, during which time he led a perfectly normal life from a physical point of view. At the age of 40, he died of a disease of the spinal cord, a disease that has nothing to do with the way he was born or his mother.
Lina is still alive today, she got married and had a second child but she never told anyone whose father was her first child…
