A 9-year-old boy from Lincoln was going through nightmare moments when a burglar broke into his house.
The boy’s mother left to pick up his other children from school and left the 9-year-old boy named Shane alone at home. Shane says he heard noises at the front door and went downstairs to open it, thinking it was his mother.

“When I opened the door and he saw me he started coming towards me, he looked straight into my eyes and approached me,” said Shane.
The boy ran upstairs, and the thief ran after him. What the thief didn’t know was that Shane wasn’t home alone. At that moment, Baby Girl appeared, the family pit bull who jumped directly between Shane and the thief.

“I ran up the stairs and called my dog, Baby Girl came and jumped straight on the thief. They started fighting on the floor. “ the boy said.
“The man took off his mask and put it on the dog’s head, then ran away and closed the door.”
Baby Girl ran after him, but the man managed to run away without stealing anything from the house.

Shane is very proud and grateful to Baby Girl. As a reward, the dog received a lollipop from the 9-year-old boy.
The child’s mother said: “I went to school to pick up my children, I missed 30 minutes and I could not imagine that such a thing could happen. Thank God for Baby Girl, who was Shane’s guardian angel. From now on, I will not leave my children alone in the house for even 5 minutes. “
