A pregnant woman with twins went into brain death – what happened after 123 days amazed everyone

Frankielen and Muriel Padilha enjoyed a very happy marriage and everything was going just perfect for them, especially since Frankielen was pregnant and the ultrasound gave them the big news: twins. They made all the preparations for the day when the children will cross the threshold of their house but they did not know that they will face a very painful and difficult obstacle.
One day, when Muriel was on his way to work, Frankielen called him and told him that she felt a very intense pain in the back of her head, going down to the neck. Muriel knew these pains were normal during childbirth, but this seemed much more serious than the previous ones.
After Frankielen told her she couldn’t stand up on her feet anymore because of the horrible pain, Muriel immediately returned home, where he found her crying in pain, lying on the floor. He transported her to the hospital and on the way, Frankielen whispered a few words to him, which would unfortunately be the last:
“I want you to be prepared for this, because I’m not coming home anymore”
Before reaching the hospital, Frankielen fainted. The diagnosis given by the doctors was a cruel one: Frankielen had a cerebral hemorrhage, that’s why she had such extreme headaches. In vain they struggled to keep her alive, offering her antibiotics and painkillers for the intense pain, she eventually died. The doctors told Muriel to get ready and make arrangements for the children in her womb. But after several checks, the doctors came to the conclusion that Frankielen no longer had brain activity, but her body continues to live, keeping the children alive. All this time, Muriel prayed every day for the children, he was always a devoted Christian. Frankielen appeared to him one night in a dream and had a message for him:
“My love, I can’t come back to you. I have to stay here and I want you to know that I’m in a beautiful place now. You still have a big and important mission to accomplish. You have to take care of our children, you have to be strong and continue your life.”
He felt stronger after seeing her in his dream. They spoke to each other and felt her warm touch, her love, and at the same time her regret, because she can’t be there with them. After 123 days, the babies could be removed from the womb by a cesarean section and put in the incubator because they were born prematurely. Muriel is very grateful for the gift made by Franklin, that of keeping children alive. He will love her for the rest of his life and will do his best for the children to grow up beautifully.
