Tracy Anderwald and her daughter, Allison, wanted to cool off a bit and decided to swim in the pool in the backyard.
As usual, the mother and daughter had fun in the water, played and swam, feeling better than ever. But no one would anticipate the tragedy that was to come.
Suddenly, Tracy suffered an epileptic shock. In a moment, the mother became unconscious, still in the pool.
When she woke up from this episode, the woman was lying on a hospital bed in Portland, Texas, and had no idea how she managed to get there.
Thanks to the family who were inspired to install a video camera towards the pool, Tracy found out what she went through, but she couldn’t believe it when she saw it. She had a shock!
The moment she became unconscious, it was her five-year-old daughter who pulled her out of the water. When her mother showed no sign of life, Allison hurried to her and pulled her out of the pool, holding the woman’s head above the water. Then the little girl ran back to the house and called for help.
If Tracy had been underwater for just a few more seconds, her life would have been in danger. Everything could be fatal.
Tracy was taken to the hospital, where she woke up, with no idea what had happened to her. It wasn’t until she recovered that her sister Tedra told her how it all happened. Little Alisson called her aunt, and Tedra called 112 urgently.
“Allison has been very calm. She tried to tell me how it all happened, ” Tedra said.
“It’s really wonderful that she knew what she had to do,” added the girl’s aunt.
