The video quickly went viral, and the girl’s mother, Keri Morrison, was attacked from all directions. People told her she was a cruel mother and accused her of neglecting her child.
Keri received so many negative comments that she decided to talk and explain to everyone why she chose to do such a thing. Her experience is truly shocking.
A few years ago, when their family was on vacation, James, their only two-year-old son, snuck out of the house and fell into the lake. The boy did not know how to swim, and unfortunately ended up drowning. The mother, devastated, decided that for nothing in the world would she let such a thing happen again.
She and her husband began to teach their children to stay calm and float on the water. This short clip demonstrates the results of training with their little girl. Even though it looks like a “torture”, Keri says she knows what can happen if she doesn’t do this “torture”.
