You never know when a nice gesture you make for a stranger without thinking too much can become incredibly powerful without you realizing it.
Joyce Rhinehart took her grandson out for an ice cream after his tennis training, and as they left, they saw a nice family enjoying ice cream together. Suddenly, the woman felt a strange need to take a picture of them, she asked them and they agreed.

Here’s what Joyce said in her Facebook post: “I took this picture and then I gave my phone to their daughter, I told her to send it to one of their phones.”
A few days after this short and nice meeting with the family, Joyce was caught receiving a message on the phone from an unknown number. She checked the message and shivered as she read it.
The message was this: “Dear lady, you took a picture of us in front of an ice cream shop on June 8th. My wife died yesterday and this is the last photo we have with the whole family together. Please accept the deepest gratitude for your kind gesture. It means everything to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart”.
After this message, which simply shook her, Joyce kept in touch with the father and learned that the woman had been ill for a year. Joyce, in her post, wrote: “Never underestimate a beautiful gesture you make at random, apparently out of a momentary fad, my heart is heavy now because it’s with this cute family I don’t even know, it’s incredible that I gave them this gift that now means everything to them, just because I listened to my instinct and intuition that day. I am amazed!”
