When he was 38 years old Anglo Mastropietro was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and then he was forced to take a very close look at his life. The young businessman had long dreamed of living in the forest, one step away from the full beauty of nature. This need of his made him put all his money into a fantastic and impressive project.

Anglo has turned his dream of retiring from the world into nature into a wonderful reality. Almost alone, he turned a 700-year-old cave into a modern work of art, the object of admiration of all who see images of it or step on its doorstep.
The cave is perched on a 250 million-year-old rock that is said to have inspired J.R.R. Tolkien to write The Lord of the Rings.

It took years of work, tons of money, and a lot of intelligence, but Anglo’s house eventually became a really special place. The simple interior has a natural atmosphere, but at the same time is unique and lush in design.
It’s amazing that someone with such a serious illness managed to do this in a relatively short time. How good it would be if we all used the gifts we were born with to fulfill our potential. Distribute this to someone who needs to be reminded that it is never too late to fulfill their dreams!
