Sea monsters? But these are just stories, aren’t they? Maybe not! Here is what this strange and huge creature that some fishermen caught in the Kama River, in central Russia, more precisely in the Udmurt Republic, looks like.

Looking at the pictures you might be surprised to wonder what they used as bait! Earthworms, just earthworms! The fish is almost a meter long and NO ONE could identify it!

Fishermen believe that it is a freshwater fish that has undergone a mutation and that originally came from the East Asian region, the fish would be called Perccottus Glenii, meaning “Sleeping Chinese”. In the 1940s, this type of fish was popular as pets in Russia, but many dumped it in rivers and sewers when they grew too large and could no longer fit in aquariums.
Other people say that this fish is a Piranha (just look at those huge teeth), or an eel that has undergone a mutation. But what could be the cause of the mutation? nobody knows for sure⦠Is it the pollution that is increasing in the aquatic environment? One thing is clear: this is a sea monster.
