Jane Fine Foster, like many other women, simply loves to go shopping. That day she wanted to buy a new blouse. Jane didn’t even imagine that regular shopping would help her find something she had been looking for for 12 years.
Passing an antique shop, the woman glanced at its window. But in a second she was already trying to calm her heart, which began to beat wildly because from the shop window, Jane was smiling at her own mother!
Among the pile of junk and trifles were some wedding photos. Recognizing her on the table in them, the woman targeted the store to talk to the seller.
In fact, the photos, in which a beautiful young woman in a wedding dress smiles at the photographer, date back to 1948. Jane remembered them very well. At one point the pictures, as well as his mother’s other fortune, were sold at auction after the old woman’s death.
After the auction, realizing that her loved ones had disappeared along with the other junk, Jane tried for a long time to find the buyers and buy back the pictures. Unfortunately, several times the photos disappeared right under her nose and then were completely lost in foreign deposits. For 12 years the woman insisted on these things until she had exhausted all her strength.
But the pictures were not the most unexpected discovery of the day. In fact, not only these, but also the wedding dress that Jane’s mother wore that significant day arrived at the antique shop. Sitting in closets and boxes for many years, it did not deteriorate.
Being prepared to pay any amount, the woman asked the antique dealer what the prices of the pictures and the dress were. The man was quite polite.
Finding out Jane’s story, he gave her mother’s things for free. Thus, thanks to a happy event, a story ended, which began 12 years ago!
