Brandon was shopping with his mother. The woman left him in the back seat of the car to put the shopping in the trunk, but Brandon managed the performance of locking himself in the car, CBS News reports.
“I left the keys in the trunk after unloading the purchases. I locked it and when I got back in the car I saw that Brandon got in the front seat and got stuck inside, ”she said.
A passer-by called the fire department. Five came but did not want to destroy the car so initially, they struggled to open the door without breaking the window. All the while, Brandon was grinning inside.
Things took a dramatic turn when he found a coin and put it in his mouth. Firefighters intervened by force and broke the window to save the child.
The pictures taken by the mother went viral after they were posted on Facebook.
