“I don’t want to live anymore!”

Ewa Sitkowska is desperate to raise £ 200,000 to save her son, Cristiano, who is battling an aggressive form of cancer called Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma.

The woman started raising money through charitable actions from others, after finding a treatment that would have saved his life. The little one had to be treated for the tumor that grew on his face, non-stop.

Unfortunately, the treatment proved to be unsuccessful and in just 10 days the tumor grew twice as big.

“This was a massive shock to us and the moment we saw fear in Cristiano’s eyes we turned back from where we left with the battle,” said Ewa, the child’s mother.

He was put on a 31-session raw chemotherapy regimen with a high dose of radiation therapy, often leaving him in agony that brought tears to his eyes.

Cancer sufferer, Nine-year-old Cristiano Sitkowska in a school photograph taken last year.

“The right side of his face, neck, and inside his mouth was burned by radiation therapy. During this time, Cristiano stopped eating so he had another operation to complete. By the end of the radiotherapy, the inside of his mouth and the upper part of his face was bleeding, with scars, in an extremely painful way, and at that moment he told me “I don’t want to live anymore!”, Said Ewa.

When the tumor showed signs of receding and the little boy began to recover and regain his smile, even going to school again, the tumor returned again in a more aggressive way than before. So the doctors told the woman that the only treatment I could apply was palliative care.

“Cristiano was stunned by the news, every day he looks in the mirror, and then he comes and takes me in his arms and cries. I feel so useless. ”

The tumor is still growing and pushing his right eye out. At the moment, the parents do not have money for other treatments but they hope that people will help them raise money to raise their son with their other son, his older brother.
