A man from Algeria was sentenced to two years in prison for keeping his child hanging outside a window, on the 15th floor, for Facebook likes.
The father posted on the social network a photo in which he was holding the child of a T-shirt, hanging outside a window of an apartment located on the 15th floor, in the capital Algiers. The message that accompanied the image was this: “1000 likes or I let him go!”
Immediately, the post of the man sparked a wave of revolt, the internet users demanding the arrest of the father irresponsible for child abuse.
The father was arrested on Sunday on charges of endangering the child’s life and was sentenced to two years in prison.
