Cheyenne Rae Owensby is a walking miracle. She was born healthy and happy and is the light of her mother’s eyes. Her parents are separated, so she visits her father every two weekends. But one day when her mother left her with her father, something terrible happened.
Just an hour and a half after leaving her daughter with her father, she received a terrible message, one that would change her life forever. At that time, the little girl was only 8 months old. Her father, James Davis, took her in his hand and shook her because she was constantly crying. The desperate mother was informed that her daughter had arrived at a nearby hospital and was no longer breathing. After hearing this, the mother began to pray to God to take her instead of her daughter. The phone rang again and she was informed that her ex-husband admitted that he had shaken her, that he had simply lost control. He received a sentence of 20 years in prison.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, doctors were fighting for Cheyenne’s life, which they said she would spend in a state of low consciousness. But then the miracle happened. Although half of her brain had to be surgically removed, the little girl woke up and could still speak and move, even though the right side of her body was paralyzed. However, she had a crazy zest for life, despite his new disability.
In the meantime, she has grown up and is a happy little girl.
